IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN - Apparently I can't help myself. Maybe two people on this planet know that over the years I have given attempts at building business directories, only to have them never take off in use by any businesses that I didn't just plug into the platform for content purposes. In 2021, a word I heard on YouTube "realistic", has gotten stuck in my brain. All things come to an end at some point right. I realize at my age, I've got to get realistic in my online endeavors. It's obvious I love building websites, and I'm not going to give that up. What I am going to do, is (eventually - working on it) delete prior directories that I don't even maintain anymore. I have a new website I'm working on that holds similarity to a directory, but has a bigger focus on curating articles from the most popular websites and news sources on the internet, because I like sharing information. I am not building this new site with any purpose or expectation of making a high profit off of it, and the focus is not on businesses any longer. I'm not even building it to reflect my own personal interests (ok there may be some in the mix). I am building it to serve as a public access point for easily accessing the top news outlets and other big brand publications. The site is currently underconstruction, however the domain has not yet been purchased. I want to build the basic platform for this website before launching it. So, if you don't see many updates happening here on MRDTHRIFT.com for awhile, this is the reason why. I've got another project in my mix.
